Current "Go To" Makeup Products

Favourite Makeup products

These are my current "go to" products that are always available and ready for me to use. These products never fail me, and I know I can count on them.

Eye Products

The first product I want to mention is my Gorgeous Cosmetics Ever Matte palette. I really like this matte palette because it ranges from warm to cool, and it has a black that isn't too pigmented. If I want to use a palette that is missing a matte shade, I will go to this palette. The pan sizes are huge, and the packaging is very sturdy. I would love if it had a darker chocolate brown, but the black works for me. My Mac Paint Pot in Painterly is my favorite eye primer. The Paint Pot doesn't budge, and
my eyeshadow doesn't fade too much throughout the day. I also love the E.L.F Glitter Glue to use as a base for my eyeshadows. I have hooded lids and I don't like it when my shimmer shadows transfer to my crease. When I use a glitter glue it doesn't transfer as much, and I feel like the shimmer "pops." The last eye product that has been working really well for me is the Maybelline Line Stiletto eye liner. This eyeliner is really black, goes on so smoothly and has a great applicator. It doesn't flake off during the day and goes over metallic shades very nice. I will even chose this over my Kat Von D Trooper liner.

Face Products

The Tarte blush in Paarty is a blush that goes with every thing in my opinion, and I can't over do it on my skin. I feel like it's a very easy blush to wear and apply and it stays put for a very long time. I also love the NYC bronzer in Sunny. I think this shade compliments my fair skin very nicely, and it isn't patchy or too orange. I struggle with bronzers looking muddy on my skin and this one works well for me and is very affordable. In addition, I've been using the L'Oreal Magic Lumi primer and while I can't say it helps with the longevity of my foundation, it helps give me a dewy look and feels nice on my skin. I have normal- sometimes dry skin and I recommend this primer. I tried a similar product and it didn't blend well into my skin and left a white cast, and this one does not do that.

Are any of these products your favorite? Have you tried any of these?

  5. I havent really tried a lot of these products, except for the L'oreal magic primer. Despite my love hate relationship with that primer, I do always have one as a back up. Love the bronzer shade though x

  8. I haven't tried anything from Gorgeous Cosmetics but that palette looks really useful, and it would be great in my MUA kit, especially with those giant pans!
