Two Affordable Winter Nude Blush Palettes (Makeup Revolution and B H Cosmetics)

The cold weather has arrived, and my makeup has changed to fit the weather. I'm not sure why but in the cold months, I enjoy nude blushes and in the summer I like brighter pinks, coral and peachy tones. While I have been using my Tarte Blush Bazaar quite a bit, these two palette have been in my frequent rotation. The Makeup Revolution Hot Spice palette has 6 blushes and two highlighter/blush toppers. I don't really go for the baked highlighters but these blushes are beautiful. This palette can do no wrong in my opinion, because it's not highly pigmented. I don't have to worry about putting too much on and I can build the color nicely. The B H Cosmetics Nude Blush Palette is another nude palette that I love. This palette is more pigmented and I do have to be careful but it blends very easily. If I feel like it's too much, I grab my powder blush and it blends out quickly. B H Cosmetics has a Classic blush palette that I want to get my hands on too.

If you haven't noticed, I really enjoy palettes. I like having options, and the quick access that I have when using palettes. I don't have to go searching for a new blush in the morning. I can pull a palette and have options, and I can mix and match for more options. I don't own many single blushes because I opt for palettes. I feel like it's more cost efficient to purchase a palette rather than one single blush. Both Makeup Revolution and BH Cosmetics are wonderful affordable brands. As a Canadian, I've ordered from both many times and never had any issues. Both of these palette travel well and come in sturdy packaging. The Hot Spice palette has a more durable plastic case with a mirror. The Nude Blush palette does not have a mirror.

  1. Some of these shades look super similar! But I know what you mean when you say that it's best to have palettes as you can have a selection, instead of searching for just one specific product when you're getting ready!

  3. These palettes are super pretty! They would be more fitting as spring blushes for my skintone though, lol

  5. I agree, palettes are a lot more convenient especially when you're in a rush. I have this problem with bronzers where I buy them individually and I can't even remember the shades making it very time consuming to open them up. I haven't tried these blush palettes, but am not really a blush person, they do seem nice to pick up though as they have a variety of good neutral shades as well

  12. I usually prefer singles when it comes blushes, but I can definitely see the benefits of having so many options, especially since both of these brands are affordable too! I definitely want to try something from Makeup Revolution and BH Cosmetics one day!

  13. I know I probably should prefer certain colors depending on season, but that isn't always the case. With me you just never know lol. I'm digging the palettes though. I've tried a few Makeup Revolution products this year and really loved them. I'll have to keep an eye out for this palette.

  15. I love blush palettes! So much easier to have more options in one than choose between individual blushes and cheaper too.
