Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts Review and Swatches (Worth the Hype?)

Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts Review and Swatches

The Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts palette was really hyped up and I didn't pick it up right away because of the Canadian Exchange Rate, Shipping and Customs. When Black Friday came around, they had a really good deal on the palette, and I decided to take the plunge. When I first took the palette out of the box, I was so impressed by how sturdy the packaging seemed and the sleeve was gorgeous. I wish the gold foil was on the actual palette itself and not just on the sleeve. I usually throw away the sleeve of a palette, but I keep these together. As soon as I opened the palette, I was impressed.

This palette consists of 12 shadows, 6 matte and 6 foil shadows. I've used this palette quite a bit now, they shades are wonderful and completely deserve the hype.Your Majesty is my favorite shade! I will say, I was surprised by how soft the foiled shadows were. Don't press too hard in the pan. The mattes blend beautifully, and I love the color selection in this palette. This is definitely one of my favorite palettes. There are times when I go into a high end palette and feel intimidated by the high pigmentation. This palette is great for beginners and more skilled users. The purple didn't swatch that well, and it was a little harder to work with. It took a little more building and blending. I don't use many purples and I've heard they are the hardest shades to formulate.

Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts Review and Swatches

Coloured Raine has a new palette out and it is stunning. I have it on my wishlist, but again I need to wait for a sale. I'm really trying to be more intentional with the palettes I bring home this year but this one is on my list.

Cheers to the Beauty by Coloured Raine

  5. I find most beauty companies struggle with purple, for some reason it's a shade that usually turn out patchy or just a hot mess.
