Review: Morphe 15D Day Slayer Palette

Morphe 15D Day Slayer Palette

The Morphe 15D and 15N palettes launched for the holiday season, but Morphe has announced that they are now in stock and no longer limited edition. If you're a fan of the 35O palette, you will like the 15D palette. This palette is very orange, and warm toned which I love. It has enough shades to do an all matte look, and has enough variety of shimmer shades if that's what you like. The mattes are very nice and blend easily. The shimmer are nice but work best sprayed with a setting spray. They're not as intense and soft as Morphe's usual shimmers. Does it make me like this palette less? no, I still really like it. I really like an intense shimmer which not all people are looking for. It is housed in a hard black plastic case which I really like, and it has a mirror which is great for traveling. This is one of my favorite every day palettes at the moment. (Purchase here)

This palette retails for 15$ and I think it is a great buy. Even with shipping, and customs I still think Morphe palettes are worth it. Why? I really like Morphe's eyeshadow formula.  I like that they're pigmented but not scary pigmented where I'm intimidated by the palette. I can build my look and like my finished look each time. The eyeshadow lasts all day, and I know what I'm getting when I pick up a Morphe palette. They're consistent and a brand that I'm loyal to. I do like these smaller palettes of 15 shades, it's not as overwhelming when trying to put together a look. I really like these 15 pan palettes, they're very nice for every day and great for travel. I hope Morphe release more of these size palettes.

If you're curious about the 15N Palette, my review can be found here.

  1. Great price! A lot of the shades are pretty but I feel like I already have a lot of these colors in other palettes. I'm glad they're getting into smaller palettes, the 35 series overwhelms me a bit!

  3. I have become a big fan of Morphe recently. Even though I don't own many palettes I really like the quality of the shadows. The shades in this palette are brighter and beautiful. I don't own bigger palettes yet but reading your reviews slowly I am easing into getting more of morphe palettes. :-)

    1. The shipping and customs hurt when you’re international but I love the palettes and really get my use out of them.

  8. The shipping and customs kill me a little because I live in Australia, but this palette and tbh a lot of these bigger Morphe palettes look so good!
