Revolution Beauty | Velvet Rose Eyeshadow Palette (Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Dupe) (Review and Swatches )

Revolution Beauty | Velvet Rose Eyeshadow Palette (Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Dupe) (Review and Swatches )

If you've had your eye on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette, you might want to check out this Revolution Beauty Velvet Rose palette. Looking at the two palettes side by side, you can definitely see the similarities. I bought the Soft Glam palette and actually returned it because I wasn't happy with the shimmers, and I don't really like the ABH formula. I'm probably the only person who doesn't like the Modern Renaissance palette. ABH Shadows don't have a long lasting power on my eyes. I thought these colours were very dupable and I had similar colours in my collection already. However, I am happy to have this new Velvet Rose Palette to use as an alternative. I will saw this palette doesn't swatch nicely, but it performs very well. The mattes blend and build nicely, and last throughout the day. The shimmers are beautiful when sprayed with a setting spray. The second shadow on the top row is a pressed glitter, and when sprayed or put on top of a glitter glue- it's gorgeous.

Review and Swatches: Revolution Beauty Velvet Rose Palette (Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Dupe)

This palette is a part of Revolution Beauty "Re-loaded" palettes and they released another 4 palettes. These palettes are very affordable only 7$ US. I have a few of the other Re-loaded palettes and I really enjoy them. This is my favourite of the ones that I do have. If you're looking for a palette to put together a quick neutral look, this palette is great. I love that the purple shades are more neutral and can be easily incorporated into a look. I do enjoy my high-end eyeshadows, but finding affordable palettes that work well are always fun. Revolution Beauty is one of my "go-to" brands when it comes to trying affordable makeup. I usually purchase from the UK website, and shipping to Canada isn't very long.

While on vacation, the Velvet Rose palette was used very often because it was so quick and easy and I loved each look that I created.

The Velvet Rose can be found at Revolution Beauty and/or Ulta Beauty for 7$.  This can also be purchased through Amazon, linked below. This is a great affordable palette. If you have the Anastasia Beverly Hill version and would like a more affordable version for travel. I recommend this alternative.
