Review and Swatches: Morphe Dare to Create 39A Palette

The Morphe Dare to Create 39A palette was released as limited edition for Christmas 2017 and it has now been announced that it is coming back in stock. It should be back today, July 12th. This palette is huge, it's far larger than my other Morphe 35 pan palettes. If storage isn't a problem for you, then this is a fun palette. This palette was broken down into four color stories, if you look at each section the top two rows can be split into a neutral palette and a pink palette. The bottom two rows have a blue color story and a green story. I don't own alot of blues and greens and thought this would be a great palette to allow me to try new shades.

The middle row of transition shades are just as large as the Morphe Grand Glam pan sizes, if you're familiar with that palette. The other pan sizes look much smaller but they're actually Morphe's regular pan sizes, it's just that the middle pans are much bigger. I like all the brown transitions all being together, and if you're a makeup artist you would have darker shades as well.

Morphe is an affordable brand that has great shadows. I have no issues with blending these shadows or the longevity throughout the day. Morphe has my favorite shimmers, including my high end palettes. I think Morphe shimmer shadows are just incredible. This palette has a nice mix of shimmers for each color story which is important to me, because I never wear a matte lid. Truthfully, 99% of the time, I have a shimmery lid.

I'm happy that this palette will restock. At the time of me writing this post, I'm not sure if it will come back as permanent or it's another limited edition restock. I'll try to find out and update this palette. If you don't like large palettes this one is large, but I put it in a drawer and have no issues when using it. I think this palette is stunning and I'm happy to own it. Those blues and pinks alone, are worth this palette. I'm not a huge green fan, but these are pretty as well.

  1. I remember when this palette came out and I loved the shades then as well as now! Glad they restocked it, although I'm banned from buying it right now.

  3. I have never tried anything from them. I find the brand questionable, but they do make beautiful palettes. These shadows look so pretty x
