Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Armed and Gorgeous (Review and Swatches)

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Armed and Gorgeous (Review and Swatches)

I previous reviewed the Ring the Alarm palette, and I told you the other palettes in the collection were a little out of my comfort zone. Let's discuss... The Armed and Gorgeous palette is perfect for fall. I was really  hesitant to try this palette, I wasn't sure how these colors would look on me and I am so happy I gave it a chance! I'm in love with this palette! This is why I love makeup, it's so fun to step out of your comfort zone and see what works. I didn't know how I would like the yellow tones, and now I'm excited to keep experimenting. The shade Classified is amazing, it stole my heart.

This palette is true to what I expect from Morphe. I had no issues blending any of the shades, and they swatched well. They're nicely pigmented and have a better pay off than other affordable palettes. As I previously mentioned, the packaging is very nice. The cardboard feels sturdy, and the palette can easily be wiped down. I don't use the mirror but it is there if you like mirrors in palettes. For 15$ it's definitely worth it. If I look at alot of the more affordable brands that I buy, Morphe has the better pigmentation and formula. Unfortunately, Morphe comes under fire alot of the times because of the attention they get through the beauty community. I have always had good experiences with the palettes I purchased.

Now that I learned my lesson about stepping out of my box and trying new things. I'm excited to try the other two palettes in this collection. It helps if you watch tutorials and see how others wear the colors, I'm not makeup artist and I do like watching others for inspiration. I will be using this palette often during the fall months.
