Boxy Charm April FOMO 2019 Box Unboxing ((Ace Beauty, Luxie Beauty, Bang Beauty, Tatcha, Tarte))

Boxy Charm April FOMO 2019 Box Unboxing

It;'s been a few months since I resubscribed to Boxy Charm's monthly subscription box. I had tried it a few years ago and chose not to stay subscribed due to the fact that many of the products received weren't being used. In recent months Boxy Charm tempted me with the boxes I was seeing. One of the boxes I would have liked to receive was the month that they included the Ace Beauty Grandiose palette and the Luxie Beauty Luminous Eye Set. The palette has the colour story that I love, and those detail brushes are right up my alley. I subscribed not long after that box, and when I saw the April FOMO box could be purchased separately for already subscribed users, I decided to go ahead and get it. As a Canadian, I pay 35$ including shipping but the value far exceeds what I pay.

Let's look at what I received in the box:

Ace Beauty Grandiose Palette featuring 4 shimmer shades and 4 mattes. I've been wanting to try this palette and the brand and this was a great way to get my hands on the palette. The pan sizes are pretty big and I'm excited to give this a try. MSPR 24.99$

Luxie Beauty Luminous Eye Set is a set of 4 small detail brushes. It includes the Luxie 141 Mini Round Brush, Luxie 121 Mini Tapered brush, the Luxie 111 Mini Flat Angled brush and the Luxie 131 Mini Angled brush. Lately, I've been noticing how smaller brushes really work well for me. I have hooded lids and working with small brushes ensured that my shadows have a gradient and don't look muddy. I can also go back in and even out my look easily. Luxie Beauty is a brand that I have enjoyed and I recently picked up their Eye Essential Set. MSPR 21.00$

Bang Beauty Chocolate Eyeliner can be used as an eyeliner, eyeshadow base or even to touch-up your brows. I've never heard of this brand and I do enjoy using brown liners. MSPR 22.00$

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mask was another product I really wanted to try. The box included two masks, and I've never tried any Tatcha products so this was a nice addition. This mask claims to nourish skin from within using a "lightweight blend of rice germ oil, vitamin e, essential fatty acids and highly concentrated botanical oils and extracts." MSPR 24.00$

Tarte Glitter Lip Paint is a sheer lip gloss infused with shimmering glitter. The reflective glitter is supposed to give your lips a fuller look. It can be used alone or over another lip product. This one probably won't get much use in my collection, you do see the glitter on your lips when applying it and I'm not sure that I would like that. It was fun to try though. MSPR 20.00$

Overall, I was really happy to purchase this box in addition to my April box. If I see box variations that I really want to try I wouldn't hesitate to order a second box. It did take a few weeks to ship out, but I was happy with my purchase.  I have products here that I really want to try, and review. Boxy Charm is a great way to purchase products for cheaper. Since I'm Canadian shipping alone increases prices for me. I did upgrade my June box to the Boxyluxe which does give you additional products. So, I will review my experience with that when I get it.

If you're looking to subscribe to Boxy Charm you can use my referral code Jenni-CLAWOVMU. This will give me charms that I can use in their Charm Store.
