Missha Perfect Cover B.B Cream Review

Fast Facts

-UV Protection SPF 42 PA+++
-Hydrating Dewy Coverage
-Naturally Flawless Finish
-Available in 7 Shades

The Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream has been raved about and I really wanted to give it a try. Many of the claims of this product are what I look for in a face product, and while this is a Korean beauty product it's not hard to order from the various retailers online. The UV protection is great for every day, especially in the summer months which really drew me in. It has medium buildable coverage and responds well to brushes, sponges and air puffs.

The BB Cream has a pump and would be great for travel. You don't have to worry about it breaking or squirting in your makeup bag during travel. Many BB creams give you a grey cast, and I don't have that issue with this one. It is available in 7 shades which is pretty good for a BB cream. I have shade No.13 and it matches me perfectly. It's very lightweight and I can see why it's recommended by many. It does come with 50 ml which is over the usual 1 oz that you see for foundations. If you like a dewy finish, you will really like this. I do set some parts of my face with powder because it does leave a tacky base. It does feel very moisturizing on the face which is great for my dry skin. I have no issues with lasting power and it will take me through an entire day of work. It does look very natural on the skin.

I'm really excited to explore more Korean beauty products. I very fair-skinned and most BB creams in Canada are too dark for me. I can't tell you how often I've purchased a light shade and it was still too dark. I love that many Korean face products have good skincare benefits and the added SPF. Missha is one brand I have on my list to try. I will continue to explore more brands as well; if you have any favourites please let me know in the comments.

  2. I like that Korean makeup have skincare benefits in them. A light weight bb cream sounds interesting. I have tried a few Korean brands but not Missha. I will have to check this one and really hope I find my shade in this product because many Korean makeup are more for light fair skin tones. :-)
