Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette (Review and Swatches)

Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette (Review and Swatches)

"Inspired by the warm glow of a morning sunrise, this impeccable palette contains Shades of warm sunny yellows, crimson corals, earthy browns and powerful pinks and fuchsias, all made to melt together in perfect harmony." This colour story really caught my attention when I saw sneak peaks and while the Natasha Denona Sunset palette has been on my wishlist since it launched in 2017, I'm glad I waited because this Sunrise palette is warmer and more versatile. The Sunset palette is much more neutral.

Sunset Palette Launched in 2017

The Natasha Denona Sunrise palette is the first product I've purchased from the brand. While I've been interested in the brand for a while, the cost always seemed high to me. The Sunrise palette really caught my attention with the shade selection and the lower cost of the palette. The brand reduced the pan sizes and the overall palette size which allowed for the lowering of the price, and as a consumer, it was easier to justify the price. The larger palettes are beautiful but I would never be able to finish an entire palette. This smaller palette is still quite big and I prefer this palette size overall. I hope this continues going forward.

Let's talk about the formula on this palette. I finally saw what everyone was talking about because these palettes do blend and build so easily. The pigmentation is excellent, the shimmers are gorgeous and they last all day on my eyes. The yellows are so vibrant, I was very pleased. Often I find myself wondering why I don't see the hype on higher-end brands when it seems like everyone else is raving about them, but this palette really lived up to the hype. When I swatched this palette, I realized they were the softest, most buttery shadows I've ever felt. I was so gentle with my swatches and they showed up very pigmented. The duochrome shades are so stunning.

  1. I have the Sunset palette and have, so far, resisted this palette but am bound to succumb at some point! I hope she makes more palettes of this size xx

  2. The sunset palette has been the only one from natasha denona to appeal to me but now I think the sunrise palette is even more gorgeous. I'm still yet to try any of her eye shadows!
