Makeup Geek Peach Bellini Eyeshadow palette (Review and Swatches)

Makeup Geek Peach Bellini Eyeshadow palette (Review and Swatches)

Makeup Geek is a brand that I want to explore a bit more when I was first started watching Youtube the brand was pretty big but I've always preferred palettes over single shadows and for that reason I didn't really purchase much from them. Recently, Makeup Geek can be found in some Target stores and they've released more palette versions. This particular palette is the Peach Bellini, a very warm palette. For those who prefer cooler toned palettes, you can check out the Champagne and Roses palette. This is currently 19$ on the Makeup Geek site.

I own a few Makeup Geek singles and the formula and pigmentation are excellent, this palette is no different. They blend really easily, build quickly and the shimmers are beautiful. I like that this is a smaller palette, I haven't been interested in larger eyeshadow palettes lately. This is a fantastic summer and fall palette. I love burnt oranges and this palette has a great selection of shades. It does have a plastic covering but I do feel like it's sturdy enough to travel with.

I believe Makeup Geek has lowered their prices a bit. I could be wrong but I thought they were higher priced a few years ago. As a Canadian who has to deal with the exchange rate and possible customs, price is important to me. They do have a sale going on and a rebrand coming up. I'm excited to see the new direction the brand is going in. Marlena has been very vocal about her struggles with the brand and I hope to see Makeup Geek expand and release new products that excite the beauty community. I would love to pick up a few of the quads that are currently being sold.

  1. Beautiful palette! Makeup Geek is a brand I want to try out but agree that getting US brands in Canada can be expensive. I'll have to keep my eyes open for these when I'm in the US later this year.
