BH Cosmetics Zodiac Palette Review and Swatches

BH Cosmetics Zodiac Palette Review and Swatches

A makeup review? Oh, it's been a while... Yes, it has. I've really slowed down on my makeup and skincare purchases. I really started getting tired of always feeling like I was testing and reviewing makeup, I kept feeling like I was always onto the next product. I didn't feel like I was able to appreciate what I already had. When I started slowing down my purchases, and not paying so much attention to the newest product launched I started feeling much more content with my collection. I am one person, with one face and I don't need to constantly be purchasing new makeup. At the same time, I decided to branch out more with my blog posts. Now, that I've explained that a bit, I'll get into the palette review.

This palette was launched quite a while ago and I found it at my local Winners. It has 25 shades, both mattes and baked shimmers and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this palette. The shimmers are very nice when you wet them and they have a nice consistency. It almost looks glittery and less metallic. It's really hard to explain. They're a pretty thin formula and I love the look of them. The mattes are a little powdery but they blend and build very well. I think this is a great palette to give you some colour and some neutral looks. There is also a highlighter in the middle. I like this palette because it does have a nice range of shades.

BH Cosmetics does have some other palettes with baked shades, and I do like their formula. I would purchase more baked shades from them. The Zodiac collection has a lot of palettes, and if you don't like this larger palette they do have some smaller palettes available. I highly recommend this palette. BH Cosmetics as a brand has had some hidden gems that I found and really love. They're a great affordable option, and they have a wide range of products.

  1. I agree that it can sometimes seem like you're on a treadmill of trialling products and can be hard to actually enjoy your stash so I'm glad you're back to enjoying it all again! The shade selection in this palette is very pretty x
