Beauty Glazed | Mars Palette (Review and Swatches)
Friday, March 8, 2019
The Beauty Glazed 9 pan palettes really caught my attention when Tammi Clarke on Youtube compared the Beauty Glazed to the Huda Beauty 9 pan palettes. They have similar concepts, and packaging but Beauty Glazed is not an exact match up in terms of colour. They've give their own take on these colour stories and named them after planets. The Mars palette seemed like it would have colours that I would love. I thought for 6$ including shipping I would give it a try too. I really didn't expect to like this palette but once I swatched it, I couldn't wait to try it out.
The shimmers are very nice, and the mattes are a bit powdery but blend very easily. I also like the variety of shimmers, two reddish shades, a gold and a green. Looking at pictures the Huda has more red and purple shades. I also like the gradient of colours which helps me with creating looks. The shimmers are buttery soft and very metallic, they're even more vibrant than the swatches below. I had no issues with fading throughout the day and was very impressed with this palette. I ordered the purple palette to try out next.
I will continue to use this palette, and for the price travelling with it would be great. It doesn't come with a mirror but that okay with me. I would have never tried this palette if it weren't for Tammi. There's an orange warm palette, a blue and a green version too, and I will probably pick them up. I ordered mine through Aliexpress and I received it within 2 weeks. I'll link the seller I purchased from, the tracking updated well and the palette came nicely packaged in cellophane. I haven't tried any other Beauty Glazed palettes but this one was great.

Thanks.
DeleteThat is amazing color payoff for that price, I am impressed. And I like that they included the green shade, such a nice contrast color.
ReplyDeleteI really didn't think it would last on my eyes and it did.
DeleteSuch a good price! the layout does totally remind of the huda beauty obsessions palette. I especially love the bronze and shimmer shades.

Oh interesting! Pigmentation looks really solid and it's so hard to find good red palettes!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, it's very similar to Huda Ruby:):*
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty palette. It reminds of the Huda Beauty palettes but $6 is just amazing. Loved the swatches. Can't wait to see the other palettes on your blog. :-)
