Sephora Haul (Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eye Collection Sultry Vault, Natasha Denona Bronze Palette, Tower 28 Blush, Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette)

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eye Collection Palette Vault was an instant buy for me when it released on Sephora Canada. I regretted not getting the Sultry palette when it was launched and decided that it was now or never for this palette. The palette comes in a beautiful pink sparkly case and it also includes a full-size mascara, a mini eye primer and a full-size liquid liner. I haven't tried any of these products and thought it was a great value.

Revlon One Step Hair Dryer (Long, Thick Hair Review)

Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer

Have you been wondering about these one-step hair dryers? Do you struggle with giving yourself a blowout because you aren't coordinated enough to use a round brush and hairdryer at the same time? Confession, I'm one of those people and this hair dryer has been wonderful for me. I can actually accomplish drying my hair with this tool.

This Revlon tool is designed with a large oval shape that makes it very easy to grip the hair and dry it at the same time. It has nylon pin and tufted bristles which really makes it easy to hold the hair. I have really long, really thick hair and this works wonderfully. I section out my hair and dry it slowly, the roots of my hair usually stay a little damp but it dries quickly. This is the only one-step brush and hairdryer that I've tried. I see a lot on the market, and they have many price points. This one really impressed me, and the price point was very affordable. I would like to try some of the more expensive ones to see if there really is much of a difference. I've actually convinced my mother-in-law to purchase one of these as well, and she loves it too. Her hair is much thinner and shoulder length and the size of the tool doesn't make it difficult to use.

If you've been thinking about this, I would encourage you to pick one up. I really didn't think I would like it as much as I did. I watched a few youtube video reviews and decided to give it a try. I think this would be a great gift for Christmas as well.

Have you tried one of these tools? What are your thoughts? Do you have any other recommendations? I see there is also a flatter version and I really want to give that a try.

Huda Beauty Nude Light Palette (Review and Swatches)

Huda Beauty Nude Light Palette and Swatch

It's been quite a while since I reviewed any makeup products. 2020 and working from home, I didn't really test out many new products. Most days I didn't bother to wear makeup however, makeup really does excite me and I do love testing out new products. I'm hoping 2021 will allow me to get back on track with blogging. One of my newest eyeshadow palettes was the Huda Beauty Nude Light palette and I wanted to share a review.

This palette is available in three versions: light, medium and deep. They were created to suit every skin tone and eye colour. The Nude Light palette is "a beautiful balance of light and creamy praline hues in both warm and cool tones. It features peachy shades with unexpected pops of lavender and mauve." The colour story of this palette is really true to Huda's brand. I loved that this could be a quick and easy palette, and also a small palette to keep in an everyday makeup bag. These little nine pan palettes are really fun, and this is the third one I've purchased from her.
