Tartelette Toasted Palette Review & Swatches (Warm Palette)

Tartelette Toasted Palette Review & Swatches (Warm Palette)

The Tartelette Toasted palette is a warm-neutral lovers dream. If you thought the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette was too warm and you wanted something a little more subtle, alittle more neutral this is a great palette for you. This 12 shade palette has the matte cream shade, I'm always looking for. Great transition and medium shades as well as deeper shades. In my eyes, it's a complete palette. I don't have to pull another palette which is a great for every day. The range of this palette really draws me in.

I've used this palette a few times, and both the matte and shimmer shades are great. Immediately, when opening the palette I can smell a sweet vanilla scent that I really enjoy. It doesn't smell artificial or over done. The tortoiseshell-packaging is stunning, it really is. Of all my warm palettes, I see myself pulling this one out when I'm in a rush and I want a warmer eye look. I don't have much fall out when I use this palette, except for cashmere. This shade kicks up ALOT of product. When I tap off my brush, I can actually see the leftover product build up on my dresser as it falls. The shimmer shades are gorgeous and I'm happy to see additional shimmer shades than the previous Tartelette in Bloom. I love a shimmery lid and I like the variety.

I'm really satisfied this palette, it will be a favorite in my collection. It stands out in its own unique way. Tarte can be hit or miss but generally I do like their shadows. The Make Believe in Yourself palette was hard to use with a brush which is something I don't really like. I prefer to pick up my shimmer shadows with a brush and I had no issues with the Toasted palette. Did you pick this palette up? Are you planning to get it?

Shade listing:

12 x 0.053 oz/ 1.5 g Eyeshadows in S'more (pinky beige), Sunrise (golden beige), Sunset (bronze), Crackle (brown with gold flecks), Cashmere (pale peach), Warmth (terracotta), Flame (metallic rust), Cozy (brick), Candle (champagne), Latte (tan), Simmer (copper), Fireside (deep plum)

  1. This looks a lot more neutral toned here than it does in any of the other photos I've seen. The shimmers look beautiful! xx

    1. It definitely does pull warm but it’s more subtle than some other warm palettes.

  17. I like that there are a lot of matte shades in this palette however I don't see myself supporting Tarte any time soon after the crap they pull on Instagram.

    1. As a Native American, I understand where you’re coming from. I have a similar issue with Suva Beauty. As a consumer you have the power to not buy or promote a brand that you don’t support.

  23. The Tarte Toasted and the Naked Heat are quiet similar in shades but I am going to get both these palettes. :-) Love the swatches and Jennifer you have tempted me a lot with the eyeshadow palettes lately. :-)
