Morphe 35O Review and Swatches

Morphe 35O Review and Swatches

Someone is still talking about the Morphe 35O? Yes, I want to talk about it. I've owned the Morphe 35O for a few years and it's a palette that I go back to during the fall. It's very nostalgic for me. Morphe is one of my favorite brands when it comes to eyeshadows. I will also admit that I use my Morphe palettes more than my high end palettes. I'm always drawn to my Morphe palettes. The fact that they're affordable and becoming more and more easily available as a Canadian is even better. In October I had a two week vacation, and this palette was a standout palette for me. I could have brought this one palette and been set for two weeks. I really fell back in love with this palette. Those oranges are stunning!

I know alot of makeup fans don't like these 35 pan palettes, but I love them. I tend to prefer larger palettes over small palettes. I love to layer shadows on top of each other, and I enjoy slowly building my colors. I find it easier to use more shadows when creating a look. It's much easier for me to blend and create a gradient look when layering colors. When using these larger palettes, I have so many colors to choose from. When I use a smaller palette, I usually find myself wanting more. I feel stuck when I don't have many mattes to choose from. As long as Morphe releases these larger palettes, I will keep buying them.

I tend to stick to the warmer side of this palette, I prefer warmer tones. I will dip into cooler tones from time to time but warm is where my heart is at. The shimmers in this palette are gorgeous! Look at the swatches. The shimmers are really what drew me to Morphe from the very beginning. I always spray my shimmers, it's a habit for me now. You can use them wet or dry. I don't have any issues with the mattes when it comes to blending or pigmentation. Since this palette released, I do think their formula has continued to improve.

If you're someone who wants to try the Morphe 35O, I will tell you that it's a great palette to have in your collection. I still go back to it and I have a very large eyeshadow collection. This palette is still very unique to my collection and it's a favorite of mine. Go ahead, you can pick it up here.*

  3. Wow, that's a LOT of colours in one palette, what amazing value. Brown tones don't really suit me, I'm afraid, but I can see that this is a great buy though :)

  4. I remember when this palette was so hard to get a hold of as everyone and their dog wanted it. It's such a gorgeous palette! I have the matte version of this palette, and I love it! Use it so much.
