Revolution Beauty Emily Edit The Wants Palette (Review and Swatches)

Revolution Beauty X The Emily Edit Wants Palette (Review and Swatches)

I've already declared my love for Emily Noel on my previous review of her "Need Palette" and you can go check that out if you're wondering. Today, I want to focus on her "Wants" palette. This palette is very large, it has 24 matte, satin and shimmer shades. Looking at this palette, it screams Emily to me. These are the colors and tones that she loves. The names themselves are adorable and you can pretty much know what she is referring to, if you're a subscriber.

Going into this palette, I was not new to Revolution Beauty's formula for their shadows and I knew what to expect. Their shadows are buildable, and not as intense as other brands. I don't consider this negative at all. It all depends what you're looking for in a shadow. I like their shadows because they're very friendly to use. You don't have to be afraid to go too far too quickly. For a beginner or a busy mom, this works well. The shadows are true to color, and with a little building you will create wonderful looks. I can see some people not liking these shadows because they like very intense shadows, but for me I really enjoy this palette.

The color theory of this palette is great for those who like neutral looks, and for those who want to drip their toes into color. I don't wear alot of color, but these I will wear. This palette does give my inspiration, and I know I can create countless looks. The packaging on both palettes is very nice. The hard plastic makes it study and the mirrors are nice too. I'm an affiliate with Revolution Beauty, but these were purchased on my own.

  4. Would you say the formulation in this EN palette is exactly the same as the usual Revolution shadows? I wonder if she had a say in it?
I really appreciate the fact that they included a large mirror. It makes a palette feel more luxurious.

    1. I would say it’s the same formula. I think it was more shade selection and she tested them to see if the payoff was what she liked. They’re buildable and beginner friendly.
