Beauty Creations | Tease Me Eyeshadow Palette (Review and Swatches)

Beauty Creations | Tease Me (Review and Swatches)

The Beauty Creations Tease Me Palette has been on my wishlist for awhile, and I picked it up online a few weeks ago. I couldn't wait to wear the shades "Please Me" and "Tempting." I've been really enjoying cranberry shades and I thought this palette would be a great addition to my collection. I've seen this palette compared to the Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette but I honestly just wanted an affordable palette with those shades. It has 18 shades with a mix of matte and shimmer/metallics.

I'll dive in and tell you that this palette was a bit of a let down for me. I really wanted to like it, but I had issues with the matte shades. The midtone shades are okay but the darker shades are not as pigmented as I would have hoped. When using this palette I tend to pull in another palette, if I want to create dimension with a darker shade. The mattes also fade on my eye throughout the day. It's not horrible, but I do see more fading than usual. Yes, it's an affordable palette but I've had other palettes in this price range with a better formula. The metallic shades are beautiful, and I have no issues with their lasting power. It's the mattes that I struggled with. The solution for me was pairing it with my Too Faced Just Peachy palette for the mattes and use the metallics in this palette. Pairing the two palettes left me with looks that I really enjoyed.

I was really drawn to the color story of this palette. I will hold on to the palette and continue to use different matte shades. The shade "Lust" was really crumbly but the other metallic shades were pretty. The two shades that I really wanted to try, both wore beautifully and kept me going back to this palette. All in All, it was an okay palette. I could get away with just using the palette but I prefer not to. I'm not sure if I will continue to try Beauty Creations as a brand, I've tried two palettes now and both were okay. They release beautiful looking palettes, I think the formula might not be for my eyes. Their new Espresso and Latte palettes look gorgeous! I really thought this would be a great palette to try but it wasn't as good as I thought. I have an extensive eyeshadow collection and I try alot of brands, I have to be honest. I really wanted to love this palette palette, but it fell a bit flat.

  1. This palette is so pretty! I totally agree with people - it reminds me of Huda too but I guess now almost every palette looks the same :(

  5. The moment I saw this palette on your Instagram I just loved the colors. Especially the shimmers. It is bad that it did not work for you. :-)
