Urban Decay Naked Cherry and Revolution Beauty Reloaded Provocative Palette (Dupe/Alternative)

Urban Decay Naked Cherry and Revolution Beauty Reloaded Provocative Palette (Dupe/Alternative)

The Urban Decay Naked Cherry palette is one that I fell in love with when it was first launched. I tried to talk myself out of it, I looked through my collection to see what I already had but in the end, I decided to purchase it. The rosy/mauve shades are so beautiful. Revolution Beauty launched new Reloaded palettes and the Provocative palette caught my eye. I didn't realize it was a dupe for the Naked Cherry until I brought it home and started playing around with the palette. When I swatched them side by side, I realized that the Provocative palette was a great alternative.

I really don't mind owning dupe/alternative palettes because I like to take them on vacation. I will normally choose an affordable palette over a high-end palette when I'm packing. I like to take a few palettes with me, and I don't like worrying about a broken palette. If a more affordable palette breaks, it doesn't hurt as much to replace it. I also don't take limited edition palettes with me either.

Revolution Beauty Provocative Palette

The Revolution Reloaded palettes have been hit or miss for me. I have some that I love, and some that I don't. The mattes are usually okay, but I like foiled metallic shimmers and sometimes the palettes fall short. I've reviewed quite a few of them. Thankfully, this Provocative palette was a hit for me. Both the mattes and shimmers performed really well on my eyes. I can see myself keeping this palette in rotation on my vanity. I also prefer the larger pan sizes on the Reloaded because it's easier to get my brushes inside. If you own the Provocative palette, you can easily skip out on the Naked Cherry palette.

  4. Wow, this is crazy close to the original! It is such a fabulous idea to take dupes or cheaper palettes during travel, in case they break. You are a genius! I need to do that moving forward. Thanks for the tip!

  6. The dupe sounds great ! I am more for dupes anyway (especially that most time they are as good as the expensive stuff sometimes even better)

  7. Urban Decay Cherry Palette is on my wish list. But the Revolution Beauty palette is so similar and only $7 is a great price. But it is difficult for me to find this brand. I don't shop online except from Amazon. I hope it is available there so I can get my hands on this brand. Its been a long time that I am wishing I get hold of this brand. :-)
